As
water issues become increasingly important
to the general public, we see the role of
the MWRA continuing to grow in the coming
decades. Our organization is made up of
members who are committed to meeting the
water needs of our citizens, while providing
international economic opportunities through
our evergrowing ports.
The
strength of MWRA lies in our members, many
of whom set the standard for professional
activities. These include offering public
seminars on water resource engineering and
management, port utilization and economic
analysis. One of our goals for this year
is to increase awareness about the work
of MWRA and its members.
Strategic
water planning and management require an
even hand and strong leadership in ever
changing situations. Balancing the economic,
environmental and recreational needs of
our citizens is what we are about. MWRA
members will continue to be part of the
solution to the state's many water issues.
With prudent planning and use, citizens
can enjoy our abundant natural resources
both now and in the years to come.
